Do you work as a designer, programmer, developer, engineer, roboticist, or all-around mad scientist? Come help the dojo grow! We’re always looking for mentors and volunteers to help the kids during a dojo as well as to lead the first 20 minutes of each Dojo.
Your mission: work side-by-side with youth from all over Denver to help them become programmers, makers, and creators. You’ll help participants work through their projects. The kids all choose their own projects so it’s never the same!
How much time you ask? The Dojo is every Saturday from 1-3pm. Come as often as you can. You will be sharing your skills and experience, providing a model for how to solve problems and think with programming logic.
Please help us spread the word. Tell your friends and colleagues about CoderDojo!
To inquire about volunteering, please send an email per the instructions below:
We can always use a parent or two to help make sure we have all of our materials easily accessible for the kids, put up signs, help direct people to the right place, and cleaning up after a session.
Kids need role models to look up to in STEM careers and we are always seeking developers, engineers, etc to come and help the kids. We especially need mentors who come from diverse backgrounds, ethnicities, and cultures.
